The Vandal Watch concept was field-tested at a number of locations with a history of vandalism.  The initial results were dramatic. Broken glass at school locations in the test group was reduced between 80% - 92% over a similar time period in the previous year.  One school went from $5,557.46 in vandalism repairs for the six month period just prior to Vandal Watch to just $471.77 for the first six months aftern the introduction of Vandal Watch.

Recent comparison studies show that the vandalism reductions at these locations have remained steady over the period of almost two years.
