Block Watch Groups Are Invited to Participate in Vandal Watch

Block Watch is a community crime prevention program that encourages citizens to work together to prevent crime in communities and neighborhoods. A Block Watch group can be started by anyone in the community. This includes residents of single-family homes and multi-family complexes including apartments, condominiums and townhouses. In Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam, there are more than 500 separate community Block Watch groups.

If a Block Watch neighbourhood is located close to a school, park or community centre then Vandal Watch would be a good complement to the local Block Watch group.
